October 21 to 25 2026, at Lake Santeetlah, quietly nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina and considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the United States. This women's art retreat offers a spacious stretch of days nurturing the creative soul through the calming art of meditative watercolor painting, whilst connecting with other like-hearted creatives. Led by watercolor artist Katie White, participants explore painting as a practice for deeper healing and balance, being imaginative and playful whilst creating, with morning meditative walks followed by art workshops drawing inspiration from nature and the world around us. The retreat balances structured creative sessions with generous flex time for relaxing on the lake, optional pontoon boat outings, group walks or personal downtime, all culminating in evening gatherings with circle sharing. Surrounded by miles of preserved national forest shoreline, this beginner-friendly experience invites participants to discover watercolor as a tool for developing a daily practice that calms the nervous system and brings ease and flow.
