Browsing and messaging are free for guests. AtelierBound charges no booking fees and no commission. The price shown on a listing is what the host charges; payment is arranged directly between you and the host.
Can I contact the host before I book?
Yes, and we encourage it. Every listing has a Send a message button that lets you write to the host directly. Most respond within 24 hours.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Each host sets their own cancellation policy. Cancellation and refund arrangements are handled directly between you and the host. If you are unsure of the terms, message the host before you commit.
Are the retreats suitable for beginners?
Many are. Each listing shows the skill level the retreat is designed for, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners looking to push their work further. Use the skill level filter to browse accordingly.
What is included in the price?
This varies by retreat and is shown on each listing page. Some retreats include accommodation and meals; others are day programmes where you arrange your own board locally. Read the What's included section on each listing before making an enquiry.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong during my retreat?
Your host is your point of contact for everything related to the programme. AtelierBound is a listing directory and enquiry platform; we connect guests with hosts, and our involvement ends there. We have no role in the delivery, operation, or management of any retreat or workshop listed on the platform, and we are not a party to any arrangement made between a guest and a host.
