From 9 to 16 May 2027, on the Greek island of Corfu, British pastel artist Lynn Howarth leads a seven-night painting retreat for Corfu in Colour. Six days of tuition move flexibly between plein air locations across the island (quiet coves, harbour scenes, olive groves and rocky waterfalls) and studio work back at the property, with an optional day given to portraiture and figurative techniques for anyone who prefers to stay indoors. Lynn's teaching centres on palette choice, tonal value and truly observed drawing, held at each painter's own pace and closed each evening with a group review over dinner and wine. Beginners are welcomed alongside experienced pastelists; the group is capped at ten and typically runs at six. Beyond the studio, the week takes in a Greek evening with live music, a taverna dinner at Old Perithia (the oldest village on the island) and an olive oil tour and tasting at a local grove. Leader Bio

Lynn Howarth is a British pastel artist who tutors internationally and runs the Purely Pastels online school with regular tutorials for Unison Colour. She teaches pastel with an emphasis on colour palette choice, tonal value and observed drawing, in a relaxed style that welcomes beginners alongside more experienced pastelists.
