The programme moves between studio sessions and plein air excursions to some of Provence's most paintable landscapes: the medieval ruins of Vaucouleur, the heights above Mandelieu, and the deep shade of the Blavet Canyon. Watercolour is the recommended medium, though drawing, gouache, acrylics, pastels, and oils are all welcome for those with experience. Tuition is unhurried and genuinely suited to beginners; the emphasis is on observation, colour mixing, and learning to see the light that makes this corner of the Riviera so particular. Afternoons might end with a local wine tasting or a slow walk back through the village. Accommodation is a single room at a poolside residence in Roquebrune or in a nearby village house, with a further option adjacent to the studio itself.
