Nov 18-23, 2026 all genders welcome; Nov 24-29 women-centred. in Oaxaca City, this women-only culinary and cultural retreat explores the magic of Oaxaca, a UNESCO World Heritage site rich in culinary traditions. Limited to ten guests aged eighteen and above, the six-day, five-night retreat is designed especially for and by women, supporting women chefs, artists, distillers, and business owners throughout. You will experience the incredible diversity of Oaxacan food, from yellow and green moles to tlayudas (huge tortillas cooked over fire and filled with grilled meats and vegetables), mezcal, and tepache. The retreat includes a welcome dinner sampling Zapotec culinary traditions at a private home, a traditional temazcal cleansing ceremony (a pre-historic steam hut experience with herbs), market tours, cooking classes, and visits to women-owned businesses. This intergenerational experience incorporates fun, rest, and cultural exploration in a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment designed to nurture and uplift spirits.
