Colors of France: Acrylic Painting Retreat in France

From 10 to 17 September 2027, at Château de Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the northern Dordogne, Toronto painter and trained florist Jacintha Krish leads an acrylic painting week built around her dual practice. Three canvases come out of the week, starting with a 12-inch floral study and growing in scale and ambition; a mid-week morning is spent at the formal Jardins Remarquables of Château de Hautefort, with sketchbooks in hand for the third painting that follows in the afternoon. A flower arranging workshop with blooms from the Saturday market sits alongside the studio sessions, and her florist's eye for colour and balance carries through the instruction. Meals at the château are prepared by Le Cordon Bleu-trained chefs with Périgord produce, and seven nights' accommodation in the 16th-century building is included. The group is capped at eight. Guests bring their own paints, brushes and painting tools; canvases and easels are provided. ** One room left! Book now! ***
