Jurga’s supportive teaching explores atmosphere, colour, composition and personal visual language through subjects inspired by Marrakech, including flowers, fruit, traditional ornament and architecture. Leader Bio

Jurga Vilimaite is an internationally recognised watercolour artist and experienced teacher known for expressive, atmospheric paintings filled with colour, movement and emotion. Her work is inspired by nature, flowers, architecture and the feeling of a place. Jurga teaches with warmth, close observation and respect for each participant’s individual visual language. Her supportive approach makes the retreat suitable for complete beginners while giving more experienced artists space to develop their composition, colour choices, technique and confidence.

The retreat takes place from 11–17 October 2026 in Marrakech, Morocco. Prices start from £1,600 per person and vary according to room arrangement. Private, shared-double, shared-triple and four-person room options are available, subject to availability. A non-painting partner option is also available. Flights, personal travel insurance, personal spending and meals not expressly included in the published programme are not included in the price. Scheduled airport transfers apply to Marrakech Menara Airport and must be coordinated with the retreat team.
