The retreat offers the best of a longer culinary tour in a shorter timeframe, with days spent exploring and experiencing Mexican cuisine and culture led by Mexico's best chefs, guides, and bartenders, and evenings relaxing by the pool or at the beach. You will stay in a beautiful private villa at Isla Retreats with marble bathrooms, king-size beds, and saltwater pool access. The experience includes a private chef cooking class with Chef Arturo Lopez Arce (who has represented the Yucatan at national cooking competitions), an evening guided food tour via golf cart or bike, a guided tour of Ek Balam ruins with Mayan guide Mellie Tzip followed by a cenote swim, and a guided mezcal tasting and cocktail class with award-winning mixologist Alan Avalos.
