April 1 to 10, 2026, in the Himalayan Mountains of Satkhol, Uttarakhand, India. This first ever creative pilgrimage brings together writers for ten transformative days in a mountain sanctuary at 6,000 feet above sea level, with panoramic views of Nanda Devi and snow capped Himalayan peaks. The retreat includes two days of cultural sightseeing, with a visit to the Taj Mahal, alongside intensive flash fiction workshops and one on one mentoring sessions with award winning author Nancy Stohlman. Participants stay in oak and mud cottages named after literary legends like Cohen, Ismat, and Ghalib, surrounded by clouds drifting through the rooms and the song of the meowli bird echoing from ancient oak trees. This intimate gathering of writers offers the perfect container for listening, collaborating, and reconnecting with the work that calls you, in partnership with the renowned Himalayan Writing Retreat founded by Chetan Mahajan and Vandita Dubey.
